  • Speciality: Scope of Work: The objective of this project of 132 doors is a combination of replacing with new doors and some removing and reinstalling doors. Some frames are replaced with new jambs and other exiting frames to remain and painted. New hardware for all the doors. Also, to selectively perform hazardous paint mitigation, remove, replace and upgrade the existing deficient and deteriorated facility doors and frames, various industrial grade Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) and stainless steel metal single and double-leaf type pedestrian access door assemblies and door hardware accessories and appurtenances at the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant (OSP). Trades Requested: (Not Limited to) Subcontracting opportunities may include, but not limited, to the following major types of work: General Engineering Contractor – Class A, General Building Contractor – Class B, Trucking and Hauling, Hazardous Materials Contractors, C-17 Glazing Contractor, C-33 Painting and Decorating Contractor, C-61 Limited Specialty Contractor – specializing in D-28 Doors, Gates, and Activating Devices Contractor, and Door and Door parts supply.

  • Speciality: The project scope is to selectively perform hazardous paint mitigation, remove, replace and upgrade the existing deficient and deteriorated facility doors and frames, various industrial grade Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) and stainless-steel metal single and double-leaf type pedestrian access door assemblies and door hardware accessories and appurtenances at the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant (OSP). Subcontracting opportunities may include, but not limited, to the following major types of work: Trucking and Hauling, Hazardous Materials Contractors, C-17 Glazing Contractor, C-33 Painting and Decorating Contractor, C-61 Limited Specialty Contractor – specializing in D-28 Doors, Gates, and Activating Devices Contractor, and Door and Door parts supply. S.J. Amoroso Construction Co., Inc. (Amoroso) may require subcontractors to provide 100% Payment & Performance Bonds, from a California admitted surety with an AM Best rating of A-VII or better, as a condition of contract. Amoroso is signatory to the Carpenter's Collective Bargaining Agreement. Amoroso strongly encourages the use of qualified M/W/D/O/S/DVBE subcontractors and vendors. Please include the use of qualified M/W/D/O/S/DVBE suppliers and lower tier subcontractors where applicable. It is the subcontractor's responsibility to review the Owner's General and Special Conditions for this project, as they will be binding. Subcontractors will also be required to execute Amoroso's standard Subcontract Agreement and comply with Amoroso's standard insurance requirements, both without modification, should we both be awarded this project.
