  • Speciality: The San Francisco Conservation Corps (SFCC) is a non-profit education and job training program serving young adults between the ages of 18 and 26. The program provides participants with opportunities to improve academic skills & abilities, job readiness, and prepare for higher education, career development or employment. Participants are enrolled in our on-site campus of the John Muir Charter School, allowing them to work towards completing their high school diploma while participating in paid “hands-on” job training. Participants work on crews to address community needs through service and conservation-related work that includes, but limited to: recycling, landscaping, habitat restorations, and public space improvements. As an entity, we are very interested in your CS-1018 Project Learning Partnership Grants. We believe that our 30-year history in assisting youth and young adults in education and job training makes us uniquely qualified to bring value to this Partnership Grant.
