Conservation

A Way of Life in California

Updates as of 6/18/2020 until Shelter-In-Place is lifted:

During the Coronavirus emergency, we have suspended in-person site visits and our Customer Service Counter is temporarily closed. You can be eligible to receive free water-saving devices by signing up for a Water-Wise Phone Consultation to determine if you qualify.

Click Here for quick links to our active programs and services, including our new Water-Wise Phone Consultations. Our water conservation field inspectors will walk with you through your home and garden over the phone and provide information about your water use, point out potential water-saving measures, and help identify leaks that can cause increased water and energy bills.

Rain or shine, there is never enough water to waste. The SFPUC offers incentives, programs and services to help our retail water customers and tenants in their properties use water wisely. This helps us to maintain our high-quality, reliable and resilient water supply. Read more about our conservation programs in the Water Resources Annual Report. Want to monitor your water usage?
