If you have lost income due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you may qualify for the Emergency Customer Assistance Program (ECAP), which provides temporary discounts ranging from 15%- 35% on your water, sewer, or Hetchy Power Bill.

I am a very low-income customer who needs long term support:

You may qualify for the Community Assistance Program (CAP), which provides long term discounts on our bill ranging from 15%- 35% on your water, sewer, or Hetchy Power Bill. These discounts won’t stop at the end of the crisis period.

My small business or non-profit has lost income due to the COVID-19 Pandemic:

If your small business or non-profit is suffering from loss of revenue due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you may qualify for the Emergency Business/Non-Profit Customer Assistance Program (EBCAP), which provides a 6 month discount of 20% on your water and sewer bill.

Our communities come first. As always, flexible payment plans are available for customers. Call 415-551-3000 to learn more. The SFPUC has also suspended water and power shut offs due to late payments, postponed liens and collections, waived late fees, and provided rental payment deferments for tenants of our facilities.
