The objective of the project is to build a new office for Water Quality staff at the Sunol Valley Water Treatment Plant. The work is to be performed in Alameda County, California.
Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 11.00% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division). SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 11.00% LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement. The requirement is less than 20% because of the large amount of supplies required and the location of the project. Please contact Vivian Liu at (415) 551-4814 for further information. Subcontracting opportunities may include, but are not limited to, the following major types of work: Civil Site Grading and trenching, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC work.
A DVD version of the bidding documents, plans, and specifications, and available project information is available by mail or at 525 Golden Gate Avenue, 1st Floor, Customer Service Desk, San Francisco, CA 94102 for a nonrefundable $10.00 fee paid by check payable to "SFPUC." Hard copy versions of the plans and specifications are only available by mail or by appointment for pick up for an additional fee of $150.00. An informal site visit will be held on Monday, April 15, 2019 at 10:00 am at Sunol Valley Water Treatment Plant, 8653 Calaveras Road, Sunol, CA 94586. The site visit will begin at the entrance gate.
