Redevelopment Areas
The Redevelopment Project group within the SFPUC’s Power Enterprise manages all SFPUC activities related to the short-term implementation of utility services and long-term development of infrastructure improvements at Hunters Point Shipyard (HPS), Treasure Island and Yerba Buena Island (TI/YBI), and Mission Bay (MB). The group facilitates the SFPUC policy decisions and the development of SFPUC standards that are required to identify the long-term infrastructure improvements to be constructed as part of the HPS, TI/YBI and MB Projects. It also provides as-needed technical and engineering support on the water, wastewater, reclaimed water, storm water, electrical and natural gas utility systems to the Mayor’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development, the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency (SFRA), the Treasure Island Development Authority (TIDA) and the Office of the City Attorney (OCA). The group also manages the operation and maintenance (O&M) of water, wastewater, storm water, electrical and natural gas systems at TI/YBI.
