CCA Task Force

The Community Choice Aggregation Citizens Advisory Task Force consists of seven members, four appointed by the Board of Supervisors, two appointed by the Mayor and one by the General Manager of the SFPUC.

Task Force shall advise the City on 1) the goals and preparation of a CCA Implementation Plan, 2) the use of Proposition H Bonds to accelerate the use of renewable energy, conservation and energy efficiency in the CCA program, and 3) the requirements in the CCA bid solicitation process, and 4) the evaluation of bids.

The Board of Supervisors shall appoint one expert on Community Choice Aggregation; one expert in municipal revenue bond financing; one environmental justice advocate currently residing in southeast sector of San Francisco; and one representative of labor. The Mayor shall appoint one representative of the business community and one technical expert in energy efficiency from the Department of the Environment; and the General Manager of the SFPUC shall appoint one representative with technical expertise in energy resources planning at the SFPUC. The appointment of members to the Task Force shall automatically expire on May 31, 2006.
