Proactive Public Participation Program >
The Water System Improvement Program (WSIP) provides detailed updates on the status of the program and individual projects in each of our WSIP regions on a regular basis. These reports to the State and other entities as well as key environmental documents are listed below under their appropriate categories:
  • STATE AB 1823 REPORTS

    Pursuant to the reporting requirements of State Assembly Bill 1823, Wholesale Regional Water System Security and Reliability Act (AB 1823), the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) publishes an Annual Progress Report of the WSIP. Change Notice reports are also required under AB 1823 whenever changes to the WSIP have been adopted by the SFPUC.

  • QUARTERLY REPORTS

    The WSIP Quarterly Report provides a detailed update on the current status of the projects in each WSIP region: San Joaquin, Sunol Valley, Bay Division, Peninsula, San Francisco Regional, and San Francisco Local. The report also identifies critical issues that SFPUC staff and management are addressing to keep the program on budget and on schedule.

  • ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORTS

    The current environmental documents for the WSIP projects, developed by the San Francisco Planning Department, are posted on the Planning Department, Major Environmental Analysis Division website at www.sfgov.org/planning/mea and available for public review by appointment at the Planning Department offices at 1650 Mission Street, Suite 400, San Francisco, CA.   • OTHER REPORTS

    The SFPUC is dedicated to providing you with all the latest information on the progress and process of implementing the $4.6 billion WSIP. Various reports on the WSIP, from risk assessments to mitigation action plans are available online in the "Other Reports" section.
