The City and County of San Francisco adopted a Statement of Incompatible Activities (SIA) for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) in October 2008. The SIA, which is required by San Francisco Campaign and Governmental Conduct Code Section 3.218, must be posted by April 1st each year and distributed to all employees.

This Statement of Incompatible Activities is intended to guide officers and employees of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, the PUC Revenue Bond Oversight Committee, the PUC Rate Fairness Board, and the Residential Users Appeals Board about the kinds of activities that are incompatible with their public duties and therefore prohibited.     Read more
