Report a Problem
If you are experiencing a water or sewer emergency or service problem call 3-1-1.
This includes problems that you may be experiencing with
- no water service
- low water pressure
- issues with taste, odor or color of your water
- sewer backups
- clogged catch basins
- flooding
- or wastewater odors
The SFPUC has started a State mandated water main flushing program called unidirectional flushing. The flushing operation, lasting two to four hours, may result in reduced water pressure or discolored water. Please refer to our Pipeline Flushing Schedule to see if we are in your area.

If you have a problem with your water or sewer billing, please call 415-551-3000 during business hours, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
