Howard Ash is an energy & utilities economist with over 25 years of experience in industry, government and consulting. Currently with Chevron, his career includes stints with the U.S. Department of Energy, Pacific Gas Transmission Company and the World Bank. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Yale and a Master of Science in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford.

Kevin Cheng is a former principal management consultant developing and executing strategy and operation work for major Fortune 500 corporations, with particular expertise in project management. He is currently the managing partner of a San Francisco based development company. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton.

Theresa is the Citywide Budget Manager for the Controller’s Office. She received her BA from Providence University in Taiwan, and received a Master of Business Administration degree from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. Prior to joining the City, Theresa served as the Budget Analyst for San Francisco Unified School District and worked in the private sector for more than a decade.

Jamie is a Bond Associate at the San Francisco Controller’s Office of Public Finance. She currently helps manage the City of San Francisco’s $3.0 billion debt portfolio, which finances infrastructure projects including seismic improvements, hospitals, public parks, and affordable housing. Prior to joining the Controller’s Office, Jamie was a San Francisco City Hall Fellow. She received her BA from Stanford University.

Adam Nguyen is the Finance and Planning Director for the City Administrator's Office. In his current role, he oversees budgeting, accounting, policy analysis, performance measurement, and IT project management for 25+ city departments and programs. Previously he worked for San Francisco's Human Services Agency as a finance manager for grants and benefit programs, and as an analyst conducting program evaluation for child welfare services. He holds a Master of Public Policy degree from U.C. Berkeley, and Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Politics from U.C. Santa Cruz. Prior to graduate school, Adam served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kenya in the Public Health Sector – Water and Sanitation.
