The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) describes the SFPUC's financial activities, condition and services as a whole, encompassing all Water, Wastewater, and Hetch Hetchy Water & Power results. In addition to the General Manager's transmittal letter and Management's Discussion and Analysis, the CAFR includes Financial and Statistical information, all of which is of interest to the public and bond investors. Of particular interest to many are the longer term trends. The SFPUC's new CAFR includes 10 years of financial and operating indicators, with social and economic data.
The Government Finance Officers Association for Distinguished Financial Reporting has awarded the SFPUC with a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for this CAFR.
