In response to California's severe drought, Governor Jerry Brown issued an executive order on April 1st calling for a mandatory statewide 25% reduction in urban water use. San Francisco supports the Governor's executive order. We will provide our customers with information once the requirements are finalized. In the meantime, we ask customers stay committed to conserving water. A call for 10% reduction in water use remains in effect. Learn more about existing and proposed new water use restrictions for all customers and mandatory reductions for irrigation accounts.
