In early August 2007, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) and its contractor SJ Amoroso will begin preparing for construction work as part of the seismic upgrade and improvements of Stanford Heights Reservoir.
What Neighbors Can Expect:
To prepare for construction, the contractor will install temporary safety fencing around the reservoir, grade hillside areas for installation of contractor trailers on Isola at Teresita, remove trees and bushes on Rockdale and install a project sign on the trailers. Street trenching work adjacent to the reservoir on Isola and Teresita will begin late summer 2007. Sidewalks around the reservoir will be closed for safety purposes. Heavy equipment, including a crane, will be parked along the reservoir side of Rockdale throughout construction.
