- Increase awareness among the general public of the existence of the SFPUC and what it does.
- Zero in on “key items” shape policy and get information about policy items out to the public.
- Have efficient meetings, have each subcommittee be prepared to give summaries of their work and make recommendations to the full CAC each month
- Carefully monitor the development of the Sustainability Plan, reaffirm the existence of the Environmental Justice Subcommittee, David Pascal appointed Chair. Other members are Clary, Hansen and Lantsberg. First meeting to take place Wed. April 5, 2006 from 5:30-7:30 at 1155 Market, 4th Floor Conference Room.
- Help improve general communications done by the SFPUC, to make the agency more “friendly”.
- Subcommittees each have priorities for the coming year.
For reporting on the WSIP, regular reports will be handled at the Water Subcommittee, with quarterly updates at a full CAC meeting.
