Public Notice: Stanford Heights Reservoir Upgrades
Published: 11/07/2008  |  Updated: 11/18/2008
Published By: Communications and Public Outreach

Progress continues on the retrofit of the Stanford Heights Reservoir. Contractor SJ Amoroso is now retrofitting the east basin of the reservoir.

What Neighbors Can Expect in November and December:

Heavy retrofit work will take place in the reservoir east basin, located on Rockdale near Isola. A crane will be on site periodically.

Construction equipment and trucks will be on site daily to remove materials from the basin and pour concrete as needed.

"No Parking" signs are now posted on the residential side of Rockdale in front of the reservoir east basin entrance. We apologize for this inconvenience. The contractor wants to ensure safety and needs the space to maneuver equipment into the reservoir basin.

While these are public streets, the contractor and project team have asked workers to park their cars on nearby streets in order to free up parking for residents on Rockdale. Workers on Agua Way from NTK Construction are parking on nearby streets as well.

Noise and dust can be expected from the retrofit work on the reservoir east basin. Dust control measures are in effect.

If you see any unusual or illegal activities during non-work hours, please call the police immediately.

WORK HOURS:
Monday-Friday: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

TRAFFIC: During work hours: Some traffic delays on Rockdale and Isola can be expected.

NOISE: Residents can expect some construction-related noise and dust.

WATER: Interruption of water service is not anticipated.

Thank you for your patience as we rebuild your drinking water system.
