Progress is being made on the rebuild of the Mount Davidson Pump Station located on Agua Way. Here is what neighbors can expect in November and December.
What Neighbors Can Expect in November and December:
Work may take place on Saturday, November 8th and 15th from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. so the contractor can move ahead of schedule and finish excavation and foundation work before heavy rains return. Saturday work will only take place when absolutely necessary and neighbors will be noticed by mail in advance. We apologize for any inconvenience.
A drill rig will be on site for approximately 10 days at the pump station site and near the intersection of Agua Way and Teresita. Neighbors can expect noise and some traffic delays.
Sidewalk work along Agua and Teresita is nearing completion and the sidewalk will be reopened once it is safe for pedestrian use.
The San Francisco Water Department will continue their water main installation work along Teresita and will trench on Agua within the next several weeks. Temporary detours and closures on Agua may occur for safety reasons. Their work should be complete in December.
A contractor trailer will be placed on the La Bica pathway and remain until construction is complete.
Heavy work at the pump station and along the La Bica pathway will continue into December. Neighbors can expect to see excavation, drill work and foundation work.
While these are public streets, workers have been asked to park cars on nearby streets so neighbors on Agua have access to parking.
