Low Impact Design Technical Workshop

The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and the Port of San Francisco are hosting a 2-day technical workshop on Low Impact Design (LID) techniques January 22nd and 23rd, 2009. The workshop will provide participants with the current state of knowledge and in-depth technical information needed to properly design, build, inspect, and maintain bioretention and permeable pavement facilities.

This training targets engineers, designers, builders, landscape architects, environmental professionals, project managers, planners, local jurisdiction staff, and other professionals who work on development and stormwater issues and/or are interested in learning how to design, construct, and maintain LID projects.

Cost:

$395 for 2 days; includes workshop materials, light breakfast, lunch, and refreshments both days.
