This report, conducted in 2004 and updated in 2006, presents the amount of mercury loading from multiple sources that contribute to the SFPUC's combined sewer system.  These estimates show the mercury loading before the SFPUC's Dental Mercury Reduction Program was implemented.  This forecast provided the justification for undertaking this mercury control program.
