To supplement our primary supplies and ensure reliable, high-quality drinking water in the event of a major earthquake, drought, or decline in the snow pack, the SFPUC is planning to diversify San Francisco supplies and increase the use of available local water sources such as recycled water and groundwater throughout the service area.  The following is background information on the proposed Westside Recycled Water Project.
