There are 36 local water system improvement projects within the City and County of San Francisco. These projects will rebuild, repair and retrofit reservoirs, pump stations, water storage tanks, transmission pipelines and other facilities that support water delivery to San Francisco neighborhoods. Some of these projects extend into the Peninsula, such as the San Andreas and Crystal Spring Pipelines and the Sunset Reservoir - North Basin Seismic Upgrade.
