A workshop was held on March 31 to consider recommendations by the Technical Review Committee (TRC), comprised of leading academic and regulatory experts in alternative wastewater technologies.

The main objectives of the workshop were to:
(1)  Recommend and define specific evaluation criteria to assess wastewater and storm water treatment systems.

(2)  Identify the "most promising and representative" system for each decentralized treatment approach to be evaluated as part of the study.
