The Water Quality Bureau (WQB) submitted the "2007 Public Health Goal Report" (Report) to the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) on June 20, 2007. The Report compares SFPUC water quality with California's Public Health Goals (PHGs) for a three year period (2004 to 2006). PHGs are ideal maximum levels of contaminants in drinking water that were developed simply based on health risk assessments with no consideration of technical and economic feasibilities.
