Published By: Water Resources Planning

The SFPUC Wholesale Customer Demand Projections Technical Report is now available. This report was prepared for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission by URS consultants.

In Fall 2002, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC), in conjunction with its 28 wholesale customers, embarked on a comprehensive water demand projections study to assess 2030 water demand in the SFPUC’s wholesale customers’ service area. The Bay Area Water Supply and Conservation Agency had an active role throughout this project in coordinating the efforts of the customers with the SFPUC and its consultant team to ensure overall project integrity. This report documents the methodology used in the study and the resulting 2030 water demand projections.
