There are approximately 43,000 streetlights within the City and County of San Francisco. Of these, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) owns and maintains approximately 22,000 of them. The remainder are owned and maintained by various agencies (MUNI, PG&E, DPW, Cal Trans, etc.). Should the streetlight you are reporting be owned by another agency, your complaint will be properly forwarded to that agency. Thanks for your help.
