The work consists of constructing 12”, 15”, 18”, 21” & 24” diameter bell and spigot type vitrified clay extra strength pipe (VCP) on crushed rock bedding, cast-in-place and/or pre-cast concrete manholes, concrete catch basin, 6” or 8” diameter side sewer connections, 10” diameter VCP culverts; lining 12”, 15” & 18” diameter main sewers with cured-in-place-liner (CIPL); clean and mortar existing brick manholes with 1” thick reinforced wet spray mortar; clean and televise existing main sewers prior to lining; televising existing active side sewers and culverts; repairing or replacing existing defective active side sewers and/or culverts; removal of protruding active side sewers by internal reaming; internally reinstating active side sewers in lined sewers; post-construction television inspection of newly constructed main sewers, side sewers and culverts; installing cast iron water traps for existing catch basins, including cleanout cap; removing existing sewers, 3’x5’ brick sewers and sewer structures; and all appurtenant work required in accordance with the Contract Documents.
