The work consists of constructing 12”, 18” diameter Vitrified Clay Pipe (VCP) sewer on crushed rock bedding, cast-in-place and/or precast concrete manholes, and 6 or 8” diameter side sewer connections; lining existing 12” diameter sewer with 12” cured-in-place liner (CIPLP), cleaning, televising and removing obstructions requiring internal reaming prior to lining, bypassing, diverting sewer flows related to lining, reinstating side sewer connections to liner pipe; plugging and filling existing sewer with slurry; televising existing active side sewers and culverts, post construction TV inspection of newly constructed main sewer, newly replaced side sewers and culverts, repairing or replacing existing defective active side sewers; installing cast iron water trap for existing catchbasins including cleanout cap; removing existing sewers and sewer structures; and all appurtenant work required in accordance with the Contract Documents.
