After several years of coordination, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and the San Francisco Department of Public Works are taking the lead in implementing various sewer and streetscape improvements on the Cesar Chavez corridor.
These improvements will be implemented through two phases of construction: Phase 1 "Sewer Improvements" and Phase 2 "Streetscape Improvements." The two phases of construction work will be led by the SFPUC and DPW, and are coordinated between other City agencies, including the Planning Department, and San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency.
