The objective of the project is to install Caltrans standard guardrails at specific locations. 11 guardrails are to be installed along Cherry Lake road and 7 are to be installed along Hetch Hetchy Road. The work is to be performed in Tuolumne, California. The Engineer's estimate is $1,600,000.
Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 5.00%. Both San Francisco Small & Micro-LBEs and SFPUC-LBEs (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division) can be utilized to meet this requirement. Because this is a SFPUC Regional Project that will be performed exclusively 70 miles or more beyond the jurisdictional boundaries of San Francisco, both San Francisco LBEs and SFPUC-LBEs may be utilized to meet this requirement %. A DVD version of the bidding documents, plans, and specifications and available project information is available by mail or at 525 Golden Gate Avenue, 1st Floor, Customer Service Desk, San Francisco, CA 94102 for a nonrefundable $10.00 fee paid by check payable to "SFPUC." Hard copy versions of the plans and specifications are only available by mail or by appointment for pick up for an additional fee of $150.00.
