- Project Description
-
The objective of the project is to replace fourteen (14) influent slide gates and respective actuators within the primary sedimentation channels of the North Point Facility, provide electrical power to actuators and repair concrete spalling within North Shore Pump Station. The work is to be performed in San Francisco, California.
Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 16% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division). SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 16% LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement. The 16% LBE subcontracting participation requirement was established in consideration of the specially manufactured slide gate systems, which are specialized with reinforced plastic coated carbon steel frames; these slide gates shall be custom sized for the existing influent channel openings. Please contact Lakysha Cummings at 415-554-3136 for further information.
