Project Description

The objective of the project is to demolish the existing pump station and reconstruct the Mariposa Street Wastewater dry weather pump station building, wet-well, electrical services, and the associated appurtenances.  The work is to be performed in SF, CA. 

Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B.  The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 13% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division).  SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 13% LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement. The 13% requirement has been established in consideration of the specialty items/labor, including the supply of power and equipment by PG&E, and the equipment and materials for the main lift pumps and piping.  Please contact Regina Chan at (415) 551-4335 for CMD related issues.

Hard copy versions of plans, specifications and bidding documents are available at 525 Golden Gate Avenue, 1st Floor Customer Service Desk San Francisco, CA 94102 for a non-refundable $240 fee paid by cash or by check payable to “SFPUC.” The hard copy plans and specs will come bundled with a CD that for an additional $10 contains essential reference documents. A contractor, who is requesting plans & specs by mail should send a request with the original, signed Confidentiality Agreement, appropriate payment amount, FedEx #, business card, contractor license # and return shipping information to: Contract Administration Bureau at 525 Golden Gate Avenue, 8th floor, San Francisco, CA 94102.
