Project Description

The objective of the project is to selectively perform hazardous paint mitigation, remove, replace and upgrade the existing deficient and deteriorated facility doors and frames, various industrial grade Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) and stainless steel metal single and double-leaf type pedestrian access door assemblies and door hardware accessories and appurtenances at the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant (OSP).  The work is to be performed in SF, CA.  

Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B.  The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 10% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division).  SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 10% LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement. Hard copy versions of plans, specifications and bidding documents are available at 525 Golden Gate Avenue, 1st Floor Customer Service Desk San Francisco, CA 94102 for a non-refundable $160 fee paid by cash or by check payable to “SFPUC.” The hard copy of plans and specs is included with a CD and cannot be purchased separately. An additional CD version of the plans, specifications, and available project information is available to paid Plan holders only for an additional fee of $10. A contractor, who is requesting plans & specs by mail should send a request with the original, signed Confidentiality Agreement, appropriate payment amount, FedEx #, business card, contractor license # and return shipping information to: Contract Administration Bureau at 525 Golden Gate Avenue, 8th floor, San Francisco, CA 94102.

 

A second site walkthrough will be held on 3/29/18 starting at 10:00AM at the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant administration building. Interested parties are to meet in the administration building lobby. Participants are required to have personal protective equipment (i.e. hard hart, safety vest, and sturdy shoes).

Addendum #2 is issued April 18, Bid date has been extended to May 17, 2018.
