The objective of the project is to provide as-needed ductile iron water main replacement required to support leak & break repairs and new development projects; it is estimated that approximately 4,400 linear feet of ductile iron water mains will be replaced annually for a three year period. The work is to be performed in San Francisco, California.
Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B.The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 12.00% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division). SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 12.00% LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement. The LBE requirement was determined by the applicable LBE subcontracting availability to replace pipes of various sizes in a linear operation.
