Project Description

The SFPUC The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (“SFPUC”) has commenced the competitive selection process for the lease of café space in the lower lobby of the SFPUC headquarter offices building located at 525 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, CA (“SFPUC Headquarters”).  The 13-story building houses approximately 950 employees on a daily basis, and receives several hundred guests per day who visit the Customer Service Center or attend meetings, affording an excellent opportunity to interested café operators. The SFPUC intends to enter into a lease agreement with the successful respondent (“Tenant”) to this Request for Proposal (the “RFP”).  The SFPUC is an equal opportunity employer, and it welcomes and encourages proposals from woman-owned and minority-owned businesses.  The SFPUC seeks proposals with café concepts that incorporate sustainable food principles, including the use of fresh, healthy, and local ingredients.

07/14/2017 - The Written Proposal evaluations are complete. The following firms will be invited to continue on to interviews: Bakeworks LLC, Elisa M. Nasra and Family Partnership, and The CoffeeSmith. Invitations will be sent out shortly.

07/26/2017: The selection process is now complete. Bakeworks LLC will be recommended for contract award.
