Project Description

The objective of the project includes green infrastructure installation at the intersection of Rutland Street and Sunnydale Avenue and within McLaren Park; sewer replacement and pavement renovation along Rutland Street from Sunnydale Avenue to Visitation Avenue; and pavement renovation along Sunnydale Avenue from Rutland Street to Schwerin Street.  The work is to be performed in SF, CA.   

Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B.  The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 20% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division).  SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 20% LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement.   Please contact Macus Lange at 415-554-3106 for CMD related issues.

Attendance and completion of the Green Infrastructure Construction Training, provided by the SFPUC, is required for this contract. Only contractors directly related to the construction of Green Infrastructure features, whether prime (Class A - General Engineering Contractor) or subcontractors (Classes C-8, C-12, C-27, C-34), that have attended and completed the Green Infrastructure Construction Training will be allowed to submit bids for this contract. 

 Hard copy versions of plans, specifications and bidding documents are available at 525 Golden Gate Avenue, 1st Floor Customer Service Desk San Francisco, CA 94102 for a non-refundable $150 fee paid by cash or by check payable to “SFPUC.” A CD version is availalbe for a fee of $10.  A contractor, who is requesting plans & specs by mail should send a request with the appropriate payment amount, FedEx #, business card, contractor license # and return shipping information to: Contract Administration Bureau at 525 Golden Gate Avenue, 8th floor, San Francisco, CA 94102.
