The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC), a department of the City and County of San Francisco (the City), seeks to retain the services of a pre-qualified design-build firm to provide design-build services for Contract No. DB-127 - Warnerville Substation Rehabilitation Project. Design-build services will include, but not be limited to, turnkey planning, design, engineering, labor, materials procurement, delivery, installation, and commissioning of the Warnerville Substation with two new transformers (300 MVA) replacing the three existing transformers (150MVA, 75 MVA, 75MVA).
The City has pre-qualified the following entities through a Request for Qualifications process:
Communication Services, Inc.
EPC Services Company
PAR Electrical Contractors. Inc.
PowerSecure, Inc.
RES System 3, LLC
Rosendin Electric, Inc.
Wilson Utility Construction Co.
Only these entities will be permitted to submit Proposals. This list will continue to be updated.
In order to review the Appendices to this Request for Proposal, please download a Confidentiality Agreement from the "Documents" tab and submit it to QBD@sfwater.org.
Pre-Submittal Conference and Site Visit (6/29/16): Design Builders are strongly encouraged to attend a site visit facilitated by SFPUC project staff to be held immediately after the pre-submittal conference. Those that cannot attend the pre-submittal conference do have the option of joining the conference call--

Additional Site Visit
The SFPUC will be hosting an additional site visit at the Warnerville Substation, scheduled for 10am on Monday, August 8, 2016. Interested parties MUST contact Tim Parkan (tparkan@sfwater.org) beforehand. And Arc Rated clothing is required prior to entry beyond the gate.

All requests for information concerning the RFP, whether submitted before or after the Pre-Submittal conference, must be in writing and directed to Kyndra Cox at QBD@sfwater.org.
Any questions or requests for interpretation must be received by July 19, 2016 (with the exception of inquiries pertaining to requirements of the Contract Monitoring Division (CMD) or the City’s contracting requirements).
