The objective of the project is to selectively perform hazardous paint mitigation, remove, replace and upgrade the existing deficient and deteriorated facility doors and frames, welded steel frame / glass-block composite constructed existing building awning, and install new stainless steel frame / acrylic glazing composite building awning assemblies including: architectural glazing panels, stainless steel hardware, neoprene sealants, flashing, stainless steel trim and glazing sealants, structural awning stainless steel frame, anchorage/fastening, as well as existing metal surface coating rehabilitation, surface preparation and final coating, various industrial grade stainless steel metal and double-pedestrian access door assemblies and door hardware, mechanical HVAC system relocation and upgrade, electrical power, lighting, electrical wires, conduits, fittings, accessories and appurtenances at the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant. The work is to be performed in SF, CA.
Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 20% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division). Hard copy versions of plans, specifications and bidding documents are available at 525 Golden Gate Avenue, 1st Floor, Customer Service Desk, SF, CA 94102 for a non-refundable $150 fee paid by cash or by check payable to “SFPUC.” A contractor, who is requesting plans and specifications by mail, should send a request with the original, Signed Confidentiality Agreement, appropriate payment amount, FedEx number, business card, contractor License number and return shipping information to: Contract Administration Bureau at 525 Golden Gate Avenue, 8th floor.
