The SFPUC, a department of the City and County of San Francisco, is pleased to issue this grant solicitation for eligible nonprofit organizations to propose how to incorporate environmental literacy lessons about the core services of the SFPUC into existing, ongoing K-8 outdoor education programming in schools. The SFPUC anticipates awarding up to three (3) grantees of up to $10,000 per school site, and organizations may apply based on the number of school sites they serve. The total maximum grant amount per year will be $200,000.

02/04/15: The date for the Anticipated Announcement of Proposed Grant Awards has been delayed to the week of February 9, 2015.

02/24/15: The evaluations for this grant solicitation are now complete.  The SFPUC plans to award grants to the following organizations (in alphabetical order): Climate Action Now!, Community Grows, and Education Outside.  SFPUC staff will be in contact with you in the next couple of days to discuss next steps.
