The City and County of San Francisco ("City"), acting through the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission ("SFPUC"), seeks a qualified organization to plan, hold and administer five conservation easements in SFPUC’s Alameda Creek Watershed (the “Conservation Easements”). The City will select an organization to exclusively negotiate the terms of a Conservation Easement Planning and Conveyance Agreement that will define the selected organization's and the City’s respective obligations – from the planning and due diligence phase through close of escrow for the conveyance of the Conservation Easement Deeds to the selected organization. The selected organization will also negotiate the terms of an Endowment Agreement for the perpetual reimbursement of costs incurred performing annual land use monitoring, as well as the terms of the five Conservation Easement Deeds, and will become the Conservation Easement Holder upon close of escrow.
11/20/14: Ranking of proposals is expected to be posted on November 26, 2014.
12/04/14: The CS-298 RFP evaluation process is complete. The Center for Natural Lands Management will be awarded the contract.
