The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC), a department of the City, seeks to retain the services of qualified Proposers to assist the SFPUC with the design of security systems for the SFPUC’s Capital Improvements and Repair & Readiness (R&R) Programs.  Such services could include, but are not limited to, participate at meetings as a Project Team Member and resource for technical information and system design support, conduct facility security assessments and vulnerability analyses, provide strategic planning of the hardware and software required for deployment of a system-wide security solution (e.g. Milestone, Lenel etc), prepare security design drawings to illustrate the proposed system parameters and design criteria to the Certified Security Integrators and General Contractors, provide value engineering, respond and review shop drawings and submittals during construction, prepare a complete operations and maintenance (O&M) manual for complete security system, prepare punch list of system deficiencies, provide start-up assistance/training and other specialized services at the discretion of the SFPUC. 

LBE Rating Bonuses may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The LBE subconsulting goal is 9% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division). SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 9% LBE subconsulting goal requirement. Please contact Bayard Fong at 415-554-3103 for further information.
