The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC), a department of the City and County of San Francisco (the City), seeks to retain the services from a pre-qualified design-build firm to provide design-build services for the Moccasin Powerhouse Generator Rewind Project, including engineering and design, manufacturing, supply, delivery, construction and erection, start-up, testing, commissioning and warranty and guarantee for refurbishing two vertical shaft synchronous generators #1 and #2 at the Moccasin Powerhouse, Hetch Hetchy Water & Power (HHWP). Each generator shall be uprated to 61,000 kVA at 0.95 power factor, 13,800 volts, 60 Hz, at a maximum 75oC rise over 40oC ambient.
