The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC), seeks to retain the services of a qualified Design Builder to install solar photovoltaic (PV) renewable energy plants at the following two sites: 1) San Francisco City Hall, 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place, San Francisco; 2) Davies Symphony Hall, 201 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco
Design Builders responding to this RFP must have proven expertise and sufficient experience in designing, engineering, supplying, installing, commissioning, and maintaining fully integrated and operational non-penetrating solar photovoltaic renewable energy plants.
Only pre-qualified solar photovoltaic firms listed on the SFPUC website (http://sfwater.org/msc_main.cfm/MC_ID/15/MSC_ID/409) are eligible to submit proposals in response to this Request for Proposals.

A formal protest, objecting to the final ranking, was received on Friday March 12th, 2010.
June 1, 2010
Resolution to award contract #DB-118 to Real Goods Solar is scheduled before the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission on Tuesday, June 8, 2010.
