- Project Description
The objective of the project is to upgrade the dewatering facilities at the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant by: replacing existing belt presses with screw presses and flocculation tanks; install screw conveyor; replace pumps, hoist, and monorail, lighting; install roof openings. The work is to be performed in SF, CA. This contract requires bidder pre-qualification by the SFPUC. Only contractors who have successfully completed the pre-qualification process for the category of work titled: “Wastewater Treatment Facilities.
Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The LBE subcontracting goal is 18% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Human Rights Commission). SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 18% LBE subcontracting goal requirement. Please contact Gary Wong at 415-554-3106 for HRC related issures.
Hard copy versions of plans, specifications and bidding documents are available at 1155 Market St., 1st Fl, Contract Administration Service Desk, San Francisco, CA 94103 for a non-refundable $150 fee paid by cash or by check payable to “SFPUC. Contractors requesting plan/specs be shipped to them should send their request with the signed confidentiality agreement, the appropriate payment amount and return shipping information to Contract Admin Bureau at 1155 Market Street, 9th fl. San Francisco, CA 94103.
