The objective of the project is to upgrade the dewatering facilities at the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant by: replacing existing belt presses with screw presses and flocculation tanks; install screw conveyor; replace pumps, hoist, and monorail, lighting; install roof openings. The work is to be performed in SF, CA. This contract requires bidder pre-qualification by the SFPUC. Only contractors who have successfully completed the pre-qualification process for the category of work titled: “Wastewater Treatment Facilities.
Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The LBE subcontracting goal is 18% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Human Rights Commission).
