The objective of the project is to increase the facility reliability by replacing aging mechanical and electrical systems in the Southeast Plant 230 and 260 areas. The work is to be performed in SF, CA.

 Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The LBE subcontracting goal is 8% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Human Rights Commission).  SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 8% LBE subcontracting goal requirement.    Please contact Mindy Lee at 415-554-3136 for HRC related issues.

Hard copy versions of plans, specifications and bidding documents are available at 1155 Market St., 1st Floor, Contract Admin Service Desk, San Francisco, CA 94103 for a non-refundable $210 fee paid by cash or by check payable to “SFPUC”. Contractors requesting plan/specs be shipped to them should send their request with the signed Confidentiality Agreement, the appropriate payment amount and return shipping information to: Contract Administration Bureau @ 1155 Market Street, 9th floor, San Francisco, CA 94103.

This contract requires bidder pre-qualification by the SFPUC. Only contractors who have successfully completed the pre-qualification process for Wastewater Treatment Facilities category of work, as posted at http://sfwater.org/pre-qualify, will be allowed to submit bids for this contract.
