- Project Description
To reconfigure the existing single stage anaerobic flow through digestion process to a sequencing batch reactor, temperature phased anaerobic digestion process (SBR TPAD), replace low pressure steam boilers, install closed-cell foam and tensioned fabric membrane, install scum pumps and screening unit & perform digestion process equipment improvements for the four 4 (E) digester units. The work is to be performed at the Oceanside Water Treatment Plant, in SF, CA.
This contract requires bidder pre-qualification by the SFPUC. Only contractors who have successfully completed the pre-qualification process for Wastewater Treatment Facilities category of work, as posted at http://sfwater.org/pre-qualify, will be allowed to submit bids for this contract.
There will be no bid discounts for this contract. The LBE subcontracting goal is 14% and ONLY SF (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Human Rights Commission).
