This project will seismically retrofit the Forest Hill Pump Station including upgrades to the switchgear, electrical systems, pumps and other equipment to insure system reliability. The project scope includes demolition of the existing building, construction of a new reinforced concrete building, two new pumps (15 hp each), a sprinkler system, new electrical system, new stand-by 70 Kva generator, two new hydropneumatic tanks, security fencing and monitoring systems, water quality monitoring and disinfection systems, landscaping and other site work. During construction a temporary pump station will be installed to facilitate continued operations. This project will also provide the necessary facilities to support the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) project by adding automation where needed.
