The Watershed Environmental Improvement Program would identify, prioritize, protect, and restore lands within the hydrologic boundaries that contribute to the SFPUC source waters in the Alameda Creek, Peninsula, and Tuolumne River watersheds. This program would ensure the preservation and restoration of significant ecological resources throughout the SFPUC watershed lands while continuing the delivery of high-quality water.

Two potential projects have been identified for implementation under the Watershed Environmental Improvement Program: Repair or Replacement of Niles Gage on Alameda Creek and Watershed Road Management Plan and Improvements. Planning-phase activities for these projects were initiated in late 2007. Additional projects may also be identified.

Note: Schedule and cost information shown may vary from the 2007 Approved WSIP Schedule and Budget. The information shown reflects the current forecast information published in the latest WSIP Quarterly Report.
