This project's design has been finalized and approved by the San Francisco Arts Commission and the contractor for construction will be advertised in fall 2008. Project scope includes demolition of the existing building, constructing a new reinforced concrete building, two new pumps (30 hp each), sprinkler system, new electrical system, new stand-by100 Kva generator, two new hydropneumatic tanks, security fencing and monitoring systems, water quality monitoring and disinfection systems, landscaping and other site work. During construction, a temporary pump station will be installed to facilitate continued operations. This project will also provide the necessary facilities to support the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) project by adding automation where needed.
