LC General, the contractor working for the SFPUC has completed approximately 90% of the seismic upgrade. The mobile temporary pump station located at Panorama near Cityview is providing water service for the Midtown Terrace neighborhood while construction is ongoing at Skyview & Aqua Vista Way. The target construction completion date for this project is Summer 2008.

This project will rebuild the Skyview-Aqua Vista pump station. Project scope includes demolition of the existing building, constructing a new reinforced concrete building, two new pumps (15 hp each), standby generator, sprinkler system, new electrical system, replacement of two hydropneumatic tanks, security fencing and monitoring systems, water quality monitoring and disinfection systems, landscaping and other site work. During construction, a temporary pump station will be installed to facilitate continued operations. This project will also provide the necessary facilities to support the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) project by adding automation where needed.
