![]() Water supplies for the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) are located at the Thomas and Mocho shafts on the SFPUC’s Coast Range Tunnel. Water from Mocho Shaft will meet water quality standards after completion of the Tesla Treatment Facility Project, however, Thomas Shaft water will not. The purpose of this project is to provide a water treatment facility at Thomas Shaft to disinfect water reliably and ensure compliance with water quality standards at both service locations in order to provide potable water to LLNL.
